Clean room, clean bathroom, nice double bed and good comfort.

Eating area is very small and airless. Very basic furniture and very basic breakfast.

Bathrooms could use some attention as the toilet was leaking. A mirror in the bathroom with the shower will be plus for shaving.

The parking space is limited and the security could be improved.

Tony greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our apartment. Houghton is in a great location - walking just around the corner for a nice choice of restaurants yet easy enough to navigate to Joburg airport. Oscar the night security man was very friendly and attentive to our needs as well. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Highly recommended.

It would be nice to have a heater available in the common area since the floors are tiles and are quite chilly in winter mornings and evenings.

They provided excellent service and were always available to assist us with any requests or questions we had. The hotel amenities, including the mini fridge, kettle, and tea and coffee facilities, were a nice touch and added to the overall convenience and comfort of our stay. The quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel made it a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city.

The hotel is well-kept and boasts a charming boutique feel. The facilities were top-notch, with immaculate gardens and a pristine pool area. The staff went above and beyond during our four-day stay, offering great service and helpful assistance. The hotel's central location made it ideal for exploring the surrounding area.

The room was a bit dusty, and some of the amenities were broken. the hotel seemed unprepared for the regular load shedding that takes place in the area, with no backup plan in place for lost electricity.

When we booked it we were told that we would get a free drink however that was misleading as we got no drink at all

Comfortable beds and clean sheets, plus a cozy setting with a homey touch. the breakfast was abundant with fresh fruits and baked goods. the hotel also has a nice garden area.

The location was a bit of a hassle to get to, it was in a rundown part of town, and the bathroom was a bit outdated. the noise from the street was constant, and the Wi-Fi was very spotty.

Shabby, room was dark and smelt of damp, many of the lights were not working, breakfast was oily eggs and cheap polony over-fried, not appetising or healthy at all
